HOW TO JOIN THE CLUB

You may call or email Recruiting Coordinator, Steve Compo at (410) 320-7515 or severn_river_rugby@yahoo.com. We will introduce you to Severn River Rugby and the sport we love.

ALL ARE WELCOME
New members are always welcome at Severn River. This welcome is extended to experienced players, to athletes who are new to the game, to coaches and administrators, and to those who may wish to become a spectator or become social members.

Severn River Rugby has never discriminated on the basis of age, sex, race, religion, color or national origin. Quite frankly, we are too busy playing rugby and having fun to be caught up in such matters. We train, socialize and play rugby together as good friends throughout the year. Our club is truly an athletic fraternity. Everyone is welcome and invited to participate.

NEW TO RUGBY?
Don’t worry if you have never played rugby before. The game is simple and easy to learn. Likewise, do not worry if you are not in top physical shape. Our coaches and experienced players will have you ready to roll after just a few practice sessions.

Severn River Rugby is comprised of many different sides for men & women, and boys & girls of all ages.

EQUIPMENT AND CLUB DUES
The club provides match jerseys. Each player supplies his own rugby shorts, socks, athletic cleats (no toed-cleat) and mouthpiece. Seasonal dues are $150.00 (There are various payment avenues for those in need of assistance).

The club operates several fundraisers - we do this in an effort to keep individual dues affordable. Each club member is expected to pitch in with fundraising in an effort to keep club dues low, and to help promote our Rugby Club. Fundraisers with an element of "fun" have been developed over the years to encourage member participation.
